Born and brought up in Paris, Srimoyi has over 15 years of communications expertise spanning across Paris, New York and Mumbai. She is passionate about helping brandsbuild their
image, support their growth through the creation and execution of strategic and creative marketing / communications programs. Combining PR Agency and in-house experience with a focus on corporate and lifestyle areas, Srimoyi’s areas of expertise include Public Relations, Brand Management, Strategic Counsel, and Event Planning. In April 2006, Srimoyi co-founded Peepul PR in New York and has extended the company’s activities in Mumbai since January 2008. Peepul Consulting is a boutique agency dedicated to brand management and PR in the lifestyle and fashion space. Our “jewel in the crown” is our showroom, Peepul Style, which aims to be a “sourcing” hub, bringing the best of our clients to buyers, editors and fashion elite.
Prior to founding Peepul, Srimoyi headed communications and public affairs for Hampshire Hotels & Resorts, a hospitality group headed by the Chatwal family in New York. Srimoyi was responsible for all communications in two major areas worldwide-Hospitality as well as Corporate and Political Affairs. She piloted PR which included openings and on going awareness for the Night Hotel, the Dream Hotel, Chopra Center & Spa and three restaurants. On the political side she managed Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s visit to India, a press campaign for the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation for the HIV/AIDS Initiative, and numerous fundraisers. Srimoyi worked in PR in Paris in corporate and new media for over 7 years in France before moving to the US in 2002.

Specializing in Fashion & Lifestyle PR, Nicole manages several prominent brands at Peepul. Having launched the Delhi branch office in March 2011, along with the quintessential Peepul Showroom – she brings the charm of Peepul Consulting to the capital.
With a background in Commerce & Economics, Nicole only discovered her true calling during a chance internship in the summer of 2006. Inspired by the creative energy and vibrant potential of the Public Relations industry in India– it was all hands on deck ever since. Based in Delhi, with time grew her understanding of media consultancy, public relations, event management, strategic counselling & copywriting, granting her the privilege of working with some of the finest names in the fashion & lifestyle fraternity.
Resourceful and eager to innovate, while with Crosshairs Communication as Senior Associate, Nicole’s client portfolio included the likes of Swarovski India, TSG International Marketing Pvt Ltd, Yogi Fashion Ventures Pvt Ltd, Maxxis Retail Group, Fashion Foundation of India, Brushman Group, Mayar Health Resorts Pvt Ltd, Hyatt Regency Delhi and Galaxy Hotel Shopping Spa, amongst others. She has been the point person on several key projects such as the Tarun Tahiliani Bridal Couture Exposition ’10, Swarovski Charity Auction ’10, Delhi Fashion Week ’08, Mission Sanitation Fashion Fiesta ’08, to name a few. Her repertoire included a mix of fashion’s dearest, with Indian designers like Satya Paul, Neeta Lulla, Falguni & Shane Peacock, Nitin Bal Chauhan, Abdul Halder and international brands like Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Alberta Ferretti, Jean Paul Gaultier, Moschino, Halston Heritage, Diane Von Furstenburg, amongst others.
She also extended her expertise towards the social sector while working with India’s foremost online donation platform, GiveIndia, as well as the global positive news online magazine, Youth Leader, recognized by UNESCO with quadruple status as an Official Project of the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development 2005 – 2014.
Nicole’s innate fondness for Public Relations is rooted in the creative freedom that it allows – a service industry in India that’s still to be understood, to be necessitated and appreciated for its eternal potential for more.

Leon de Souza is a graduate in management studies. He has been associated with leading agencies in the sector including Madison communications, and Corporate Voice Weber Shandwick. A finance specialist, he led worked on globally acclaimed account, P&G and Gillette to name a few. He has the expertise of handling a team of several individuals servicing brands across FMCG, technology, consumer durable, entertainment and education. Weber Shandwick is the only Indian agency to win such an honor.
Suranjana Ghosh
Senior Brand Services Director

Suranjana Ghosh has close to 10 years of experience, in marketing global brands in India across various product categories, Target Audiences & markets.Her expertise lies in Brand Management, Communication Development (several ATL campaigns for FMCG & broadcast media brands), Consumer & B2B Marketing, across all platforms of traditional & new media. With a nuanced understanding of brand-building,Suranjana’s strengths are working on creating relevance & need for global brands in India for both niche & mass TGs, in collaboration with international teams.
She has joined us from the BBC, where she handled Marketing for BBC World News & BBC.com for South Asia, as well as a stint in international marketing at BBC’s Global News Division in London. Prior to the BBC, Suranjana has also worked in Brand Management, at Kellogg India & L’Oréal Professionnel. Suranjana is a graduate in Fashion Design from NIFT, New Delhi & an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. She is a photography enthusiast and keenly enjoys the creative aspects of marketing.
